Golden Fleece was a Melbourne based brand of petroleum products and service stations founded in 1893 by shipowner and merchant Harold Crofton Sleigh and manufacturer and shipowner John McIlwraith. Golden Fleece existed under it’s name until 1981. A true Australian icon that you can still find hanging on the wall of work sheds and garages.
